Attorney Lara Mason is an aggressive and passionate litigator. Mrs. Mason started her legal career in private practice focusing on medical malpractice and nursing home litigation. She then devoted several years to child abuse cases while working as an Assistant Attorney General for the Office of the Attorney General in Hillsborough County, Florida. Mrs. Mason sharpened her trial skills and gained invaluable courtroom experience while successfully prosecuting hundreds of child abuse cases. Mrs. Mason started her law practice in January 2006 focusing on probate, wills and trusts, juvenile dependency, guardianships, and family law.
In private practice, Mrs. Mason has litigated hundreds of child abuse cases and numerous appeals in counties throughout northeast Florida, including the Fourth, Seventh, and Eighth Circuits. Mrs. Mason’s family law experience includes dissolution (divorce), paternity actions, adoptions, child support, child custody, and modifications. She has handled all types of probate cases, from simple summary administration to complex formal administration, throughout the state of Florida. Mrs. Mason has been a member of the Florida Bar Association since 2000, and she is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts.
